This is a unique and rare bottle with a very interesting history behind it. The seven Sutherland Sisters were most notably known for their incredibly long hair that is said to have been a combined length of 37 feet however, they also traveled as a musical act. In the 1880’s the sisters along with their father created their first product “The Seven Sutherland Sisters Hair Grower”. This bottle however was for their “Colorator” (Hair dye) which was trademarked in 1923 however the sisters claimed to have been using the word since 1900. There is little information available on the colorator but here is what we have pieced together. Other Sutherland sisters’ bottle have a seven on them however this bottle does not, this is likely because the bottle was manufactured for sale in Canada (its said that they struggled to expand their market into Canada). Additionally on the sides of the bottle only one sisters name is listed “Dora Sutherland” it is possible that this could have been used as a color name however while its commonly thought that they had multiple colours of the hair colorator only bottles with Dora’s name seem to appear. Lastly it is unclear when the company ceased production but its said that their ads were still seen up until 1930. We estimate that this bottle was made c.1910.
Size: 4.8cm x 3.2cm x 11.3cm
Condition: Used – Sold as is, haze inside the bottle and the remnants of a sticker along the back. The lip of the bottle has a large chip measuring 11.5mm x 6.6mm.$27.99

The power light turns on when plugged into the power supply.$99.99$99.99

Here is an excerpt from Vinturi’s website about the product:
“How it works: It’s simple! Place a glass under the Vinturi and pour your wine through the opening. When wine is poured into the Vinturi, its internal, patented design creates an increase in the wine’s velocity while simultaneously decreasing its pressure. This difference in pressure draws in the proper amount of air, which mixes with the wine for the right amount of time, and delivers a better bouquet, enhanced flavors, and a smoother finish – the absolute perfect aeration. It’s that easy. As wine breathes, it opens up and releases its intended aromas and flavors. The more you appreciate wine, the more you’ll appreciate the difference.”

Vintage Royal Doulton Irish Setter “CH Pat O Moy” Figurine number HN1055. There is conflicting information online in regards to when this figurine was in production, however it can be narrowed down, starting with the makers mark on the foot of the figurine. The mark on this figurine is thought to have come into use around 1930, information varies as to when this mark became obsolete some speculate it was discontinued in 1959 while others believe it was discontinued in the early 1990’s. The second mark on the figurines foot reads “HN1055” this is an identification mark used on all Royal Doulton Figurines. Once again, information varies as to how long this figurine was in production however it is commonly stated that production began in 1931. According to authors Kyle Husfloen and Louise Irvine of the book “Antique Trader Royal Doulton Price Guide” this figuring ceased production in 1985 although due to conflicting information this date cannot be confirmed. Lastly to those who are curious, I believe the name Ch Pat O Moy is the name of the dog the figurine was modeled after.
