Moorcroft Pottery “Orchid” Pattern Bowl
This is a vintage bowl was made by Moorcroft Pottery in the late 1940’s – early 1950’s. This stunning deep blue bowl features the Orchid pattern and is signed and stamped “Moorcroft, made in England”. Moorcroft Pottery was founded by William Moorcroft in 1913, he won many awards early on in his career and in 1928 he was appointed Potter of the Queen. William died in 1945 however the business was succeeded by his son Walter Moorcroft.

Manufactured: 1940’s – 1950’s
Condition: Excellent – No chips or cracks to the bowl, the lighter colour paint is crazing due to its age.
