Clothing Department Lead

Description

The purpose of this position is to ensure the ongoing flow of donated clothing items and to oversee/guide and direct the volunteers who assist in this area.

This is a 25-30 hour a week position.

Responsibilities

  • To ensure quality of items going to the retail area of the store
  • This position includes at times sorting incoming clothes donation.
  • Hanging, tagging and putting racks of clothing out in the retail area of the store
  • Training new volunteers in the safe and proper ways to sort, hang, tag and displaying clothing
  • Monitoring sales in the clothing area and working with manager on clothing displays to maximize sales and space

Experience Requirements

Desired Skills

General understanding of Thrift Store or a retail setting
